Impeachment 2: Insurrection

Here we go again. The House impeached Trump yesterday and the Senate said they wouldn’t get to the impeachment until after Biden is sworn in. So, we’ll see what actually happens there, if anything.

I’m still not understanding the argument against impeaching Trump. He clearly doesn’t care about the constitution or the current form of government. What’s the point of keeping him on as President?

It’s still very hot. Even though most people don’t seem to care, the U.S. is now averaging nearly 250,000 new coronavirus cases per day. Wowza. While I’m pretty numb to the stats at this point, it’s worth noting that the pandemic’s deadliest and most dangerous days are happening right now. 

and almost all states are still increasing or staying flat.

Coronavirus patients now occupy 40% of all the hospital beds in Arizona, 33% in California and Nevada, and 26% of all the beds in Georgia and Texas.

December was the deadliest month of the entire pandemic, and January is on track to beat it.
