The Cavalry (Vaccine) is Coming

Hey gang. It’s been a while. Given so much has happened, I thought I’d dust off the old newsletter.

Vaccines

I’m obsessed with the vaccines and want the entire country vaccinated asap so we can get back to normal. We were waiting for half a year for them to get approved and now that they’re approved, we need to them to get into the arms of people.

So, how’s it going? So far, 5.9 million people had received a first dose. West Virginia and South Dakota have had the most success: 

I’m hoping that the speed picks up and I’m pretty excited that Biden has decided to release nearly all available coronavirus vaccines for distribution, instead of holding some back for second doses. That’s good because only about 29% of the doses delivered to the states have been administered. We need to get those babies out.

Biden also said he wants 100 million vaccines administered in his first 100 days in office — a plan that includes the creation of federally run mass vaccination sites across the country.

Sasha mastered riding a bike without training wheels and is so excited that we’re hitting up every bike trail in the county. I also dusted off the rollerblades as they are the perfect complement.
